More Top 20 Things To Do In Los Angeles
What to do in Los Angeles?
16 (9) Knott's Berry Farm
Rock n Roll with over 165 of the wildest thrilliest thrill rides
on the West Coast.
17 Griffith Observatory
If the weather is kind and has blown away some of the smog you
get to look down on much of LA. The night views are also well worth
seeing. If you get there early enough you can park close to the
observatory.
If you don’t beat the rush you will have to climb someway
up the hill. Despite the line, you should consider a visit to the
planetarium. Check out the exhibits and maybe see a planet or two
if you go at night.
18 California Science Center
The California Science Center is the West Coast's largest hands-on
science center. There are other museums located near by but you
could easily spend the day at the CSC. One other attraction of note,
admission is free. This is one of those things you do without great
expectations but leave feeling pleased with yourself for going.
Enjoy.
The California Science Center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Admission
to the IMAX Theater isn't free. It is open daily. Call 213-744-7400

19 Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels
Beyond its religious significance, if one can say that, the church
contains a number of ‘points of interest’. The large
woven tapestries, The 85 foot high pipe organ and the even harder
to miss are the bronze doors at the entrance.
You should also look out for the shrine to the Virgin of Guadalupe,
the alabaster and impressive old altar retablo. Perhaps the most
moving is the realistic tortured crucifix. The metal sculpture of
